Orang-Artan Competition Shortlists

It was such a challenge to develop the shortlist - for some of us, it was the hardest thing we've had to do for a long time! Every single artwork showed creative flair, personal style and a love of art and orangutans. Thank you to each and every one of you for taking part.

Congratulations to ALL the young artists who entered our Orang-Artan Competition!

Thank you so much for taking part in our first-ever art competition for children! We are thrilled to announce that we received 430 entries from all over the world (Argentina, Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, UK and USA). This included twelve school groups from Australia, the UK and Portugal.

Thank you to the parents, grandparents, carers, aunts, uncles, friends and of course the teachers and principals who registered their young artists and sent us these wonderful explorations of colour, art and conservation. And thank you to all the young artists who created in their beautiful artwork. You should all feel so proud.
